A small tool for deposition day

Deposition Video
Runtime Calculator.

DepoCalc adds the run time of each deposition video into one total. The web calculator is free. DepoCalc Pro is a one-time $1.99 unlock in the mobile app when you want to save and share witness records.

Try The Calculator

Coming soon for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Free to download when it launches.

One Total For Every Recording

Enter the run time of each media file. DepoCalc shows the combined total and lets you add or remove recordings as you work. The figures below are an example of that arithmetic, not a saved witness.

MediaRun time
#100:42:18
#201:08:24
#300:36:12
Total02:26:54

42 minutes and 18 seconds, plus 1 hour 8 minutes and 24 seconds, plus 36 minutes and 12 seconds, is 2 hours 26 minutes and 54 seconds.

Enter A Run Time Quickly

Type HH:MM:SS, MM:SS, or digits only. Digits are read from the right, so 12345 becomes 01:23:45. The total updates as you type. Press Enter to format the value and add the next recording. A run time can be up to 99:59:59. Entries that use other characters, or that run past that limit, are left out of the total.

You type each run time yourself. The web calculator does not save witness names, matters, or dates.

Free To Calculate. $1.99 To Keep The Details.

  • Free: add and remove run times, see the total, and, in the mobile app, calculate without an internet connection.
  • Pro: a one-time $1.99 unlock inside the mobile app, not a subscription. Save witnesses on that device, reopen them offline, and share a PDF. Email a summary when delivery is available.

The US price is $1.99. Regional store prices may vary. There is no web checkout. See the free and Pro comparison.

What Stays On The Device

Calculator entries are not uploaded. Saved Pro records stay on the device where you save them, and they do not sync between devices. Emailing a summary is separate: that message goes through the LitTech API to Resend. Read what stays on your device.

DepoCalc adds run times you enter. It is not legal advice. Read the FAQ.
